Paris 3.4.06 - 3.7.06
Paris was another fantastic city. It seemed like it was cleaner than the Italian cities and they people were very friendly and I am serious! We did not have any problems with any of the French people. The most rude and offensive person that we met was in Rome.
Since
we had seen soma many churches while in Italy CJ and I had to find something
new to entertain us. Cassie became to be a huge fan of the crapes with
nutella and banana and I fell in love with the gyro's. Notre Dame was
really cool too!
I
know that it would offend some of my art teachers back at school to hear
that we went to the Louvre. They only thing is that we were so tired of
seeing art that we only stayed long enough to see Mona Lisa. Largest art
museum in the world and we stayed for 45 minutes. haha.
The most impressive landmark that we visited was the Eiffel tower. It was so much larger than life. We took an elevator up to the top and you can see for miles in all directions. It was really cool. While I had my tripod set up to take some night shots of the tower there were strobe lights that went up the sides of the tower and sparkled which was really cool.
